Commonwealth Hotels Appoints Rich Hendrix General Manager of SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Midtown

PRESS RELEASE – Commonwealth Hotels is pleased to announce the hire of Rich Hendrix to the position of general manager at SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Midtown. A 40-year hotel industry veteran, Hendrix recently managed Courtyard hotels in Florida and Louisiana.

In his role as general manager, Hendrix will oversee hotel operations, sales, and community and guest relations – focusing his efforts on driving revenue, controlling costs and ensuring guest and associate satisfaction.

“Rich brings a depth of experience and talent that will align perfectly with the culture of Commonwealth Hotels,” Area Director of Operations Denise Tempco said.

Hendrix’s extensive hospitality experience spans the brands Holiday Inn, Sheraton and various other Marriott hotels in roles as general manager, food and beverage director, director of revenue management, and regional director. Rich attended Miami University and has certifications from Michigan State in hotel management.

The 122-suite SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Midtown recently completed a two-million dollar renovation. Each suite includes a spacious seating area with trundle sofa sleeper, mini-fridge and microwave. Rooms also include features that provide guests the ability to work while on the road including a well-lit work desk and complimentary high-speed WiFi.
