Since we typically start with zero revenues, we are experienced at developing businesses from the ground up. We have historically ramped up new properties in six to twelve months. To achieve this we have developed sophisticated sales and marketing techniques and systems. We also work with our in-house revenue management team to optimize our market segmentation and mix of business.
Each hotel's management team is an integral part of this process, along with plan flexibility that allows each hotel to adapt quickly to changing market conditions. These systems are used in all Commonwealth Hotels. Market results for our properties have demonstrated strong yield indices in excess of our competitive set.
